“Well Done DASL Staff and Volunteers”

In the three years or so I’ve been involved with DASL; it’s safe to say the relationship has been interesting. From an advice/support direction I have found DASL, its staff and volunteers, helpful and considerate to my problems and issues. During a particularly stressful situation whilst I was in the process of moving, the staff member in charge of my case showed great patience and understanding; as well as resolving a particularly fraught matter – which held up my moving into my new home.
When I opted to take the Direct Payment’s route to manage my Care Package; DASL visited my home, and gave me a thorough briefing on how to cope with advertising for PAs, interviewing, drawing up job specs, dealing with the financial side etc; when I came across a knotty problem, whether relating to staff or tax, Margaret, or another advisor was there to point me in the right direction – thanks.
