Welcome

to Disability Advice Service Lambeth (DASL)

DASL is a voluntary organisation which works with disabled people and with carers, mainly in the London Borough of Lambeth.

There are a number of ways you can support our work. If you are interested read on

We provide a range of vital services which enable our users to live as independently as possible :

Whatever your disability query, the Advice and Information Service should be able to help you get an answer. The Service deals with issues such as benefits, housing, transport and community care and offers information, general advice and individual casework. We now also provide information and general advice services for the Lambeth Carers' Hub.
If you are thinking about managing your own community care services, experienced staff from our Direct Payments Support Service can give you the advice, support and training you need to make a Direct Payment work for you.

If you are looking for a job as a personal assistant current vacancies are advertised here
One of our key roles is to support disabled people to have a stronger voice. The User Involvement Service for Disabled and Older People, provided jointly with Age Concern Lambeth, enables people with physical and sensory impairments and older people to have their views heard by local politicians and service providers. We also coordinate the Lambeth and Southwark Stroke User Involvement Network which is working with people living with stroke to improve and develop services and increase opportunities for them to participate in their communities.
