Spirit of 2012 is recruiting young people

Spirit of 2012 was set up to recreate the spirit of pride and positivity that defined London 2012. It funds arts and sports projects that foster community cohesion and empower Disabled people.

It is now recruiting young people aged 18-28 to join its Spirit of 2012 Youth Advisory Panel (YAP).

Applicants should have a real passion for arts, culture, sport and/or volunteering and be interested in becoming a champion for Spirit of 2012 and its projects around the country.

It is looking for people who can commit to around 12 days a year for meetings, project visits and to help Spirit of 2012 include the youth voice in its work.

Spirit of 2012 is keen to recruit a diverse group of young people and is committed to ensuring that young Deaf and Disabled people have equal access to the application process and, if successful, have their access needs fully met.
