Lambeth Libraries - let us know what you think - – 6.30pm to 9.30pm at Lambeth Town Hall

Lambeth has started a discussion with people in the borough on what they want from their library service. We have set up a Libraries Commission, made up of councillors and independent people with an interest in libraries. They will use your comments and ideas in order to draw up a set of proposals. The proposals will go to the Lambeth Council Cabinet for them to consider in October 2011.

They are holding the second public ‘open space’ events, so you can come along and have your say and also hear what other people think. During these event, you can help set the agenda, discuss what matters to you about libraries in Lambeth, and help come up with ideas for the future direction of a modern library service.

The event are on:
• Tuesday 14 June 2011 – 6.30pm to 9.30pm at Lambeth Town Hall (Assembly Hall), Brixton SW2
Everyone is welcome to attend. There is no need to book; just turn up. If you have particular communications or access needs, please let us know in advance.
