Changes in dasl’s senior staff team

There are a number of changes in dasl's team which we'd like our members, service users and partner organisations to know about.

After 18 years at dasl, David Strong, our Director, will be retiring later in the summer.

We are delighted that Lauren Johnson-King, currently our Direct Payments Team Leader and Assistant Director, has been appointed as the new Director. She will be taking up the post from 1st July, until when she and David will be working together to ensure there is a well-planned handover.

In another change, Abs Tripp, who has run our successful IntoSport project since 2016 has been appointed to the new post of Community Development Team Leader with effect from 6th May. In this role she will lead and expand our community development work with Disabled people and manage the IntoSport, Disability Hate Crime and London Stroke Choir projects.

Because of Lauren’s promotion we are recruiting to the post of Direct Payments Team Leader - the closing date is 28th May. The person appointed will complete our senior management team.
