A Parent of a disabled child is seeking a carer for ten-hours per week in SE27.
Carer required assisting and supporting a seven-year-old child. The little girl has cerebral palsy and partial speech. The ideal carer would be a woman who has experience working with disabled children with complex care needs; and someone with at least a basic understanding of British Sign Language (BSL).

The job is for 13 hours per week*, Monday to Friday as follows:
Monday to Friday – 6.00 am to 7.15 am
Monday to Friday – 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm
*The remainder of the package to be used flexibly
The duties are as follows:
Morning duties Evening duties
Toileting Pick up from bus outside of home
Washing Make tea
Dressing Toileting
Breakfast
Taking child to the school bus outside the home

The salary to be negotiated – the successful job seeker would need a DBS check, though a waiver may be applied via social services if the job seeker holds a current children’s DBS certificate.
