annual listening events
We have written an illustrated report on the first three events which you can download here DASL_StrokeProjectEngagementReport.pdf
At our latest event on 9th December 2015 which nearly 50 people attended, members talked about the future of the Network and enjoyed a Christmas-themed lunch.
We talked about the Impact Report which DASL had written following interviews with 20 members about the benefits they got from being part of the Network. People enjoyed the performance of the London Stroke Choir.
For our second event we reviewed the exciting activities which people had been able to enjoy in the year and had a special session led by Fraser Serle about keeping Warm and Well in Winter.
For the first event after the 2012 re-launch of the project we talked about what people wanted from the Network and got some great ideas for activities and outings. Speakers from the Stroke Association, Wheels for Wellbeing, Age UK Lambeth and the Lambeth and Southwark Speech and Language Team explained some of the services and opportunities available.
