The main Stroke Peer Support Network closed down in March 2016 due to lack of funding.

DASL still supports two activities, the London Stroke Choir and the Stroke Swimming Clubs.

If you are a stroke survivor and would like advice, information and support about sport and physical activity opportunities you can contact DASL’s ‘Into Sport’ project.

For general advice and information you can contact the Independent Living and Carers’ Partnership Enquiry Line which is provided by Age UK Lambeth. You can or ring 020 7346 6800 Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

If you are caring for someone who has had a stroke Carers’ Hub Lambeth offers a wide range of services and support which may be helpful to you.

Lambeth Stroke Care Advisory Service

The service provides needs-led advice, information, emotional and practical support to stroke survivors and their carers/families.  It also runs a fortnightly group at Aspire Wellbeing in West Dulwich.
