To get to 336 Brixton Road
The 336 Building is on Brixton Road about 400m out of the centre of Brixton, on the left hand side as you travel towards Kennington. It is the middle of 3 large buildings, just before the Tesco Express garage.
Car parking
There are spaces for disabled drivers and their carers only at the front of the building. On busy days, eg when there are conferences, it is advisable to book a space by ringing Lambeth Accord on 020 7274 2299. The nearest on-street parking spaces for non-disabled drivers are in Wynne Road and Robsart Street, SW9.
British Rail and the tube
Brixton is on the rail network from Victoria (South Eastern Trains). Please note that there are lots of steps at the rail station.
Brixton Underground is on the Victoria Line (this has a steep escalator and then two flights of steps but a lift is being installed). From either station, cross the main Brixton Road to take a bus (towards Kennington) or you can walk to our office in ten minutes.
You can use Transport for London’s travelplanner for directions by tube, bus, train and up to date travel information:
Buses
The 3,59,133 and 159 pass the office. Other buses which come into Brixton are a 10 minute walk from the office.
From Brixton, use the request stop after the Catholic Church.
From Kennington, use the second request stop after ‘Jam’ [a bar] on the corner of Loughborough Road / Brixton Road.
You can use Transport for London’s travelplanner for up to date travel information.
Cycles
There are railings at the bottom of the ramp where you can lock your cycle. Cycles are not allowed in the building.
Entrance to 336
There is a wide steep ramp to the front ground floor entrance or six steps. The accessible lift is at car park level. Use the intercom, which is at wheelchair user’s height, to speak to the receptionist, to gain entry.
You should first go to Reception to sign in. The Receptionist will then call to let us know you have arrived.
Toilets
There are toilets, including wheelchair accessible toilets, in the ground floor reception area and on DASL’s floor of the building.
