Opportunities for volunteering

Volunteers already play an important part in supporting the work of our organisation and we are creating more opportunities for people to join us in this capacity. We are currently interested to recruit specifically for our Volunteer Welfare Benefits Advisors posts, to assist clients filling in forms for a range of benefits including Disability Living Allowance.

We provide full training and support and a friendly working environment. A variety of other volunteer roles are available including :

* Information work
* Helping people claim Disability Living Allowance
* Working on our newsletters
* Office administration
* Supporting direct payments users to recruit personal assistants
