Carers’ Hub Lambeth

Welcome to the temporary webpages for Carers’ Hub Lambeth.

The new Carers’ Hub started providing services on 21st December 2009. Please use this area to keep in touch with the work we are doing while we are developing an exciting new website for the Carers’ Hub. The main point of contact for all your enquiries about the Carers’ Hub is the Carers’ Enquiry Line.

Crossroads Care - South Thames, Age Concern Lambeth and Disability Advice Service Lambeth (DASL) are the main partners in a consortium which has been commissioned by Lambeth Council to provide key services identified in the Lambeth Carers’ Strategy 2008 – 2013. We are looking forward to working with carers, Lambeth Council, NHS Lambeth and voluntary and community organisations to develop and deliver the Carers’ Hub.

Although the Carers’ Hub is being provided by a consortium of existing organisations we are committed to giving it a strong identity in its own right. We believe that it should be an independent body that provides a wide range of support services, champions the needs of carers, is supported by carers and is open to all.

The Carers’ Hub services will be available to all carers in Lambeth including parent carers. A wide range of services will be provided by the Hub and you can find out more about these by clicking the links to the left or by downloading this leaflet Carers_Hub_leaflet_Feb2010.pdf

One of the most important services will be a new Carers’ Hub website which we are working on in the early part of 2010. We will be finding out more about what carers want from it as we design and develop it. We will keep you updated on this project. We will also be regularly adding information about news and events of interest to carers on DASL’s news page.
